How Long Before they Pull the Plug on ESPN+?

I love watching the $5 morons trying to defend it.

running a HDMI cable from your computer to the back of your TV is not for everyone.

Virtually no one is doing this.

Most households have a smart TV or a streaming device, even modern gaming systems work.

Currently, ESPN+ works with Roku, Chromecast, XBOX, Playstation, Android and Apple everything, Amazon Fire and Samsung smart TVs. If you have Netflix, you can watch ESPN+ on your TV.

Perfect Sherdog thread - no knowledge of contracts, no figures or data to prove their assertions, just 1 sentence with a fatuous, stupid assertion.

Why are you allowed to make threads?
I've been loving ESPN+ well worth the 5 bucks. Never understand the hate it gets. Some people are just ridiculous

ESPN+, PPV...it doesn't matter to me. I refuse to pay a fee to watch 3 hours of television.

What's interesting is they were suppose to do 10 ESPN card & 20 ESPN+ cards.

But they are currently scheduled for 7 ESPN cards(Reem/Harris being the last) & 23 ESPN+ cards(S. Korea being the last).

ESPN conned WME.

So shitty events, overloaded with women's fights, that are poorly marketed and placed on penny ante pissant webstream services are actually growing the sport? Show me the numbers, SherBro geniuses.

Lmao typical shertard who thinks he has some insight the financial analysts at Zuffa don't.

Obviously crapping out these generic fight nights is a strategy that makes more money for them and grows the business. They wouldn't be doing it otherwise.

I love seeing people who post all day about MMA on a forum but can't afford 5 dollars a month to watch all the fight nights.

$100 a month for ESPN with DVR, that still works great recording events and playing back at convenience . Please pay $5 to comment again.

There are now 2 paywalls, it is obviously not as readily accessible.

That's what I had to do. I think you underestimate how much of us older folks are still living a pretty primitive life lol. I don't have any of those things you mentioned except for an iPhone. Watching on an iPhone is ok when I'm alone or even out of town. But when I have friends over the HDMI cable from my CPU to my TV is all I know, and even that took me a while to figure out lol. Only did it for the first time ever this year to catch the UFC PPVs. Sure I won't deny most people like to stay up to date on technology, but there's still a handful of us cavemen out there lol. I'm not saying the PPV loses over this are staggering or anything, but I feel there's gotta be atleast a minor loss over this

Lmao at paying 100 for ESPN. Have fun recording your 7 events a year.

My parents are senior citizens, all but certainly older then you, and they stream Netflix on all their television sets, just like 70% of all American households do.

It is a small fraction of the viewing audience that is not setup to using any streaming app. What you figured out connecting your computer to the TV via an HDMI cable is more technically challenging then any of the standard methods.

I don't pay for that either lol
Jail broke STB

Who pays for shit they don't like? And where's my money bish

I personally know multiple people who haven’t been able to get PPV events on their main TV because of trouble with ESPN+

ESPN+ has to somewhat complicate the whole “Theres a UFC tonight? Let’s pitch in and order it!”

“Oh shoot we can’t order it on Satellite Dish or Comcast? What is ESPN+? How do we get it up on the big screen? Never mind!”

I can’t help but wonder, how manny times has this happened?

I think it’d be nice if we could choose between ESPN+ or good ol PPV. Why not both?

If UFC is doing good with ESPN+ then more power to them, but will they ever be able to top Conor/Khabib buys with this model?

You just said you pay 100. You can't even keep your story straight. Put the pipe down and come back when you aren't high.

I lied on the interest. It's like preying in church.
Used to keep cable on, only for UFC/Bellator. Have since ended my agreement on paying them until they have 1 usable, reliable media provider.

I have a few friends who like UFC and watched them often when on free TV, but they haven't seen a fight since ESPN+ took over. The die hard fans will pay for it, the casual fan will look for what ever else is on TV. Paying a monthly fee, then running a HDMI cable from your computer to the back of your TV is not for everyone. I think UFC has totally lost it's casual fan base.:(
Lol you don't need a HDMI cord. If you really aren't tech savvy just ask an employee at best buy to help you out. If you are capable of communicating on sherdog you should be capable of plugging a fire stick into the HDMI outlet in your TV. It cost you 30 -40 bucks at least.
