Social How long before the Reddit boardroom suggests that they need to expand beyond a progressive user base?

Meanwhile the tone of many subs including the main political sub is thst the world would be a better place if all republicans were killed. It's open in nearly any thread you will find people saying it, mods don't remove it. Curious if they've changed enforcement after 2 assassination attempts. If you call for the death of trump or republicans you're fine but say a man can't be a woman and you'll be banned.

The things I see online the attempts didn't surprise me. These places have blood on their hands caused by implementing their personal biases into their moderating.
This is right-wing persecution fetish fantasy, not reality. Advocating for violence is strictly prohibited on the main politics forum, let alone the genocide of all Republicans. Give me a break.

And Trump's would be assassin was a former Trump voter, not some purple haired Redditor.
Who cares what those nutcases do. The QAnon people were our equivalent of your 'men can give birth and we should give kids hormone therapy because your son might be a girl' people.
Wait a second...you were just complaining about people having blood on their hands because of what is being posted on Reddit...then when I point out real examples of it actually happening and not fantasy (The guy who stabbed his dad to death for being a liberal was Seattle4Truth, Google it) you just go "who cares" because the victim was a liberal. lol.

You're so fanatically partisan and propagandized you can write hypocrisy like this and you probably won't even understand your hypocrisy when I point it out to you.
lol 2 subs huh how many left leaning ones on there will ban you if you question one of their pet subjects?
I didn't say there were two subs, I said those were the two largest. There are many, many more. All that gamergate stuff, red pill crap - that was huge on Reddit.
I don't visit either of those but I do recall an r/conservative mod responding to someone who was complaining about how easily they were banned by pointing out that's how conservatives feel across all of reddit.
Except the proof is in the pudding. I have viewed threads on r/conservative where very literally more than half the comments have been deleted. You can't deviate from the narrative, even if you're a fellow conservative. Many threads they only let approved users post in. That doesn't happen in the main liberal ones. They'll happily entertain some Chud. Everyone will just poke fun at him.
I got the impression a lot of their banning is a piss take to make a point about the treatment conservatives recieve in any other sub.

I think you're projecting
That's an interesting theory but they are super quick to even ban other conservatives on it. I think they end up hating each other more than liberals when they're stuck together.

Look at what happens when they attempt to create their own safe spaces on social media, like with Parler. The CEO had to come out and publicly ask them to stop posting pictures of their poop and threatening to kill each other.

don't believe there is any place on Reddit that bans people quicker than r/conspiracy and r/conservative. They are the antithesis of these free speech zones they are always prattling on about. As usual, it's always projection: accuse the enemy of what you're guilty of.
Shit, you can’t even post on r/conservative until a mod vets you and gives you permission. If you disagree with them then you get kicked out

Why did Armie and Hulk get cancelled?
Not for reasons i would have done it.

Arnie Hammer wanted to eat people.
Hogan was caught saying racist things.
Gina tried to say that conservatives are facing the same thing today as Jews did during ww2.

Great list you got there bud.
There are plenty of worse out there post civil rights act, whatever.

What he is saying isn't even true. Reddit in is infancy was basically dominated by white tech bros from the USA who all had a hard on for posting "It's Happening!" GIFs.
The US was once a small and irrelevant country.

Looking at its past to do what?
The smart thing, the mean thing, the wicked thing, the unholy thing...

Reddit

There are a couple of Tankie threads there. And their Tankieness even spills over to more moderate threads.

There was even a subreddit called r/ therewastheattemp that is blantantly pro terrorists lol.

I don't even get me started with the occasional commie meat riders in different country subs.

Honestly Reddit hasn't been all that bad in terms of free speech and limiting right wing voices. Yeah it's definitely left leaning overall but some subreddits are much better than others.

I think the creation of certain pro rightwing spaces by design like Troth Social and Musks attempts at X hurts more the right wing movement than it helps. It just causes migration away from more popular sites like reddit and so reddits just becomes a lefty echo chamber and gets radicalized and the rightwingers that are left are too extreme to the right which turns people off.

It is better that conservatives specially moderates hit back at the tankies on the more popular platforms instead of just grifting inside X, TrumpSocial and what not.

There are blatant subreddits there that have anti-western tone, and even supporting terrorism.

I do not think i ever saw a forum in my life where the race war idiots and the socialism any moment people posted in moderation instead of all the friggin time.

Same observation, I think it is turning off moderate conservatives.

It's the premise of the entire website. A couple of basement dwelling cucks who moderate a subreddit and feel powerful banning and censoring people.

I'll only go there to find info on some videogames in specific subs related to those games, but otherwise I avoid the place. It's just a safe space for weak people.

I have honestly found the best use of the site is adding “Reddit “ to the end of any Google searches I make. Also huge help figuring out which used car to buy using the same idea.

Yeah I've found help there for random things like fixing my google chromecast remote disconnecting all the time.

Political stuff on there you just want to stay away from.

Reddit fucking sucks, not because of any political bias but because they've allowed the forums to be absolutely consumed by a horde of bots.

It's pretty fucking useless to use except for the most exceptionally moderated subs.

The Armie documentary with his aunt is a good watch if you're interested. Gives massive insight to the whole family. And didn't Hulk get cancelled for being a racist piece of shit?

I'd be surprised. SN was really dumb, but this guy doesn't seem like he really speaks English very well, and I think SN was American.
This guy also posts in other forums on Sherdog. I don't think SN ventured out of the War Room or at least I didn't see him.

So, he comes from a bad or crazy family, i accordance with historical norms he can still be an actor.

Who does not get called a racist piece of shit these days?
