seeing as Trump has held hundreds of businesses and only failed at 4, not likely
my #1 source in the 90's was the Nintendo Power Hotline.Multiple sources and don't use sources with a bad track record. I mean, don't we call each other out on sources here ALL THE TIME?

He is president of the greatest country in the history of humankind so there is always thatHe failed at the casino business. The only business where the odds are literally rigged in your favor.
Worth noting.
I got mad and yelled at one of those operators once. I don't recall the game but it was some point and click, fantasy type game and I couldn't figure out the final puzzle. The guy wouldn't walk me through it because he didn't want to spoil it. I told him I was literally paying him for the answer and he was refusing. Are you talking about a modern-day Great Depression?
Seriously? I mean.....SERIOUSLY?!?!
Only thing I agree with is that there is ZERO chance Trump causes a recession.
How about a modern day depression?
Something in between the 08 recession, and great depression. 08 danced on the door steps of a great depression itself.
I really don't think most people understand how close we got to a great depression in 08.
The bubbles are even bigger this time.

What do you think is going to cause the next recession?
I have my opinions, but I wonder what other people think.
I think the next recession will be caused by the boomers retiring, pulling capital from the financial system, increasing the cost of capital/loans, and everything will slow down for a little while until the millennials come into their own and put more capital back into the system. Gen X can't sustain the capital system, they are too small. It won't last long nor be that severe. Boomers are working longer than ever, not retiring as soon, which will help soften the blow. The Chinese, as well as other foreigners, whose countries are going to see much harder times in the future compared to the USA, are going to continue dumping their money into the USA as a safe haven which will help soften the blow also.
Going to be a very mild recession.
I say another 2-5 years.
It won't matter at all who is President.
One wonders who might be giving him such obviously bad advice. He seems to be following a step by step guide how to fuck the economy
