Nate has done great for himself. His whole story was being a couch potato who got a gi thrown at him by his older brother and dragged in to jujitsu. From there his career snowballed in to what it is today. It was like, yes, you and I can just go to a gym and learn mixed martial arts through a discipline. True about people not relating to wrestling in college and going to the UFC.
But what I mean by role model is, people look at a role model has a confident, well spoken, articulate individual who knows what to say and when to say it. A role model in my example doesn't have to be a wrestler or an athlete, it could be a businessman, an inventor or some other successful individual who are always on and on about "being positive" and "believing in yourself" as well as always trying to inspire others.
Meanwhile Nate keeps it real in a sense that he doesn't glorify anything, mumbles, loses his track and usually is very absent minded. He also doesn't seem very inspirational at all. Never says shit like "go for your dreams" or " eye on the price" dude just goes through life being himself. A perfect antagonist to Conor who is in to saying inspirational quotes and trying to win people and to dress to impress.
