Francis walking away made the best decision he's ever made. Took balls for him to do it, but he's going to be laughing all the way to the bank.

Just to suck my own dick for a second I was one of the folks getting into long debates right after Francis left the UFC arguing that he made the right choice.

Hasn't really changed, if he wants to go out and make more money more credit to him, definitely think he's ruined his potential for legacy though, he could've had an opportunity to dethrone Jones and set a title defence record at HW instead, he'll likely look foolish against Fury and beat a few tomato cans in PFL.

It's gone from "Francis is an idiot who ruined his career by leaving the UFC and he'll never get a fight against the top boxers" to now "Francis is ONLY earning $8m to fight Fury" LOL (it's actually 8 figures, not $8m).

Other than that, it's not like Francis beat some ranked boxer to get to Fury, so I don't see what's changed from a sport perspective.

I am neutral about his situation, I just found it weird he added all these stipulations with the health care, stake in the company etc. It's very clear Francis is a little greedy, but to each their own. In the end it seems like he may have made the rig by decision, so good for him.
