Bagwork How hard should heavy bag be ?

The top of the foot bone when pressed. It’s not super bad but it’s enough to hurt when kicking a bag and when I press it with the heel of my over foot.

It’s been like that for a couple years now. My foot has been rested for a long time
How long have you rested it the most at a time ? Does it hurt when running ?

You should get it checked out. I got free health care, so when I probably tore my left glute I got it checked. Actually scanned my hip bone and was shocked it was normal. Than other doctor said it was my muscle. Sent me to scan it and I just never went lol. Took me 1 year to recover. I bet I tore my left glutes. I barely could walk for a month.

You probably never recovered your foot and are a training addict.

Maybe doctor will tell you to not use your lower body for 3 months. Like you can just do push ups ect.

You're just making it even more chronic.

- Did you scam that? I helped a guy train for a fight, he had a little bone on his feet sticking at skin, but he said didnt hurt, so someday he got to check his knee joint with a ortopedist, and the dude noted the bone. Lost cntact with the guy years ago. but he fixed at the time.

- This is true. We used feetguard in karate and tkd.

I had a 100 lb bag for many years that was hard as stone and never softened up. Aside from using it regularly I wailed on it with a baseball bat, dumbbells. Nothing worked. I eventually just pulled some stuffing out of it and it was much better. Sometimes they're packed so tight there just isn't anywhere for the shit inside to go.

What do you need a heavy bag for?

Sometimes unconventional works . Particularly trying not to bust your azz on ice this was supposed to be a warm up but I called it a day after almost sliding off my feet ..lol

A bag should be a large target and mimic a human body but still have minimal sway and that’s th3 trick , bags are hung way to high in most places this is no good ……this was the bag I used to hit it was hung on a 4 chain iron beam on both sides of the top bag and was just about anchored to the ground so it had no place to go .
