How far do you let something slide?

After I had kids, I became pretty intolerant to bullshit. There's just no fucking time for that.

My general rule of thumb is if I can tell that someone doesn't want the best for me like I want for them, I tell them exactly what my observations were immediately, give them a chance to explain, and usually cut direct contact unless I get the sense their behavior was completely out of character for them. Act like a shitty employee in my presence and I will treat you like one.

For the randoms that piss me off, I'll usually ignore them like 95% of the time. If I'm feeling energetic that day, I might mirror them a bit or give my best Jon Anik "HUHAH!" before walking away. Depends on the situation too, of course.
 
Can't give a blanket statement. Depends on the situation and who it is.

My brother is going to get more rope than a stranger. My brother could walk by and slap me upside my head and I will be annoyed and probably slap him back but if a stranger did it I would probably destroy them.
