Makes no difference to me, we don't get it in the UK we're forced to pay for TNT. I'll just be torrenting and streaming as usual. If there was an option to subscribe to Paramount online, I 100% would.

I haven't purchased a UFC since 2011 so even if I subscribe to Paramount + I'll be losing money. There's something magical about illegal streams with the little chat on the side with people spewing racist garbage and complaining throughout the whole event.

I'm excited since I get 4k streams of events at a much more stable pace.

ESPN for all their billions couldn't fuckin run a livestream without it shitting out even once.

Didn't even need their own video service, literally could have made them private youtube videos and it would have probably worked better in the long run.

PPV is dead with this, which is good for the sport, you might just get some meritocracy back.

Gonna be the first event to be in 4K it seems. I work for DirecTV and they have 4K as an option for it. Pricing hasn't been announced yet, but I'd guess it will be $5-10 more than HD. If I had a 4K TV I'd spring for the extra to see how it is. Seems like it will be just a one time thing since 199 and 201 just have HD and SD options.

Cards are kinda meh as I expected more but it will depend on how rhe service is and will it be constant buffering for 324 while the "work out bugs" ..

Not having to find streams and starting earlier are both big wins. But I don’t expect card quality or the product overall to improve. In fact I think it may decline. So I’m somewhat mixed on it.

I'm mixed. One hand I was paying this much anyways so it's a wash.

UFC was watering down cards with 90$ PPVs, so I'm not super excited about what they will push for free.

But I do think PPV gated normies out of UFC, so there should be growth in the long term and hopefully raise the sport to more eyes.

Giving it an 8. Anything new can't be worse than ESPN.
