Ever since I bought a smart tv it's almost all I watch. Event though I feel the amount of ads has gone through the roof lately and I find it very hard to watch.

it's good stuff. recently got into the Donut Operator channel, its like Cops from back in the day.

I hate it more with every passing week.

There's good stuff on there, but it's a constant reminder of how fucked this world is. So many of the people who are the most popular on there, are privileged rich kids whose parents could afford to get them all the streaming stuff. It's making the wrong people rich and famous.

Look at someone like iSpeed or whatever the fuck his name is. Dude just jumps and yells and screams like a moron and people love it for some reason? It's beyond dumb as fuck and shows how "cooked" society is if they actually enjoy that bullshit.

i primarily use youtube for music, movie reviews, researching "how to" vids when things pop up, and I do like random things like WatchMojo when they put together lists

Just some of topics I watch regularly

I quite like that the videos are often more efficient aswell, you don’t get the repeated clips and drawn out story telling you sometimes do on network TV programs

That said I watched some professional broadcast quality documentaries recently for the first time in a while and there was definitely a noticeable difference in the quality of the material vs YouTuber self made content (this is more true crime specific though)
