How Elite is Pettis?

pretty damn elite imo.

he will rule the div for a while and he probably go on to break bj's defenses. possibly all finishes too.
 
The only guy that can still build his case as the best LW to ever pull on a pair of board shorts. He seems to be the only guy in the 155 GOAT convo that doesn't have double triple losses to another guy on the list. Penn-3 losses to Edgar, Edgar-2 Losses to Bendo and now fighting at 145, Bendo-2 Losses to Pettis. Pettis doesn't that demerit in his resume.

He's among the greatest fighters alive today. Extremely well-rounded, possibly the most dangerous guard in the UFC, possibly the best striker in the UFC and he has a very high fight IQ.

I used to really dislike Pettis, but he is making an undeniable case for one of the greatest talents in the sport.

The only tool around here is your mum. The fight was a UD, I remember it being closer but that doesn't disregard the fact that the first fight went 5 rounds and the second being finish so quickly.

Obviously gifted but we just haven't seen enough of him to know if he can handle an elite wrestler.
 
well one word to describe the elite is rare. Everything about Anthony is rare. His kicking game, his resume, how often he fights...
