How does Gane handle Ngannous blitz?

This is quite the oxymoron.
Not really lol. Any time you make a fighter fight at a pace he's not used to, they burn out. That's why pressure fighters burn out fighters, they force them to fight at their pace and pressure. Anyone that really trains/fights would understand that. It's easy to keep your conditioning when you are going at a pace you are used to, it's harder when you have to fight at someone else's pace/intensity/pressure. Like how Gaethje burned out quick in round 1 from Khabib's pressure/pace.

He's low output, change his output he'll gas. He picks his shots and dances around most of the time instead. That's why he can do 5 rounds. He's dancing around fighters with no footwork/movement. So it's not really tiring him out.
At a normal pace he's more than capable of doing this. Look at any of his fights. He doesn't have to change his output for ngannou. Yes even gane cannot elude a full blitz for most of the fight. But he doesn't have to, he just has to surpass the storm of maybe the better part of 5 minutes at most. Which athleticly he's better equipped to do than anyone else in heavyweight

Ngannou is not going to out strike gane down the line

I'm not saying he has to change his output. I expect Ngannou to force him to change his output by making him fight.

You are missing the part that is an oxymoron.

If Francis forces Gane to fight close in and high pace Gane most likely goes to sleep.

If Gane can avoid Francis and evade for 2 rounds Francis slows down way more than Gane will.

We all know Francis's cardio sucks. Can't say the same for Gane.

So if it's close in pressure either it ends in the 1st 2 rounds or Gane takes control from the 3rd forward.

Allow me to put this in another way. There is no way that at any point in time during this fight Gane is more gassed than Ngannou unless Francis catches him clean but doesn't put him out.

That I can see.

Hopefully the same way Jairzinho did. The exact same way.

Oblique kick and push kicks and ofcourse moving away

Rozenstruik moved straight backwards. I assume Gane won't do that.

I think Francis' gameplan is to sit tight and look for counters in round 1. I don't think they'll employ a bum rush strategy against a guy who circles out and moves laterally as well as Gane does.

I hope none of this occurs and the JBG blesses our bum lives with a hollywood level sequence of haymakers and headkicks that culminates on one of these behemoths crumpled in a mass on the canvas within the first minute!

Personally I want to see much of the same except I want 2.5 rounds of violence before hand.

Too risky. At that length we could be looking at a finger-touching snooze-fest. It's best to pray for a quick and speedy banging.

Hold my hand brother....

He has to circle towards the power hand, take his time getting started (really feel francis out) and when he does he should jump into the center of the cage and start swinging at francis. Take two to give one mentality and I think he walks out of there with the belt around his waist.
sounds like the perfect gameplan to me

I agree. And that's why it's in favor of Gane this time.
Ngannou is a natural counter striker. Unless popular opinion, he is not a head hunter and he is not putting a lot of pressure.
Look at all his UFC fights, there is only 2 fights where he bumrush and put pressure : Stipe 1 and Rozenstruik. For Rozen he went good for him, for Stipe 1 it went wrong.
That's why I knew before Lewis vs Ngannou its gonna be boring, 2 counter puncher.

If Gane fights a fight he's not used, meaning exchanging with Ngannou instead of picking his shots here and there he will gas. Like I said, as long as Ngannou doesn't gas he should be able to catch Gane. But if he does gas then yes Gane will start pulling ahead in the later rounds. Gane is very low output, he picks his shots and dances around most of the time.

Gane has the third highest SLPM of all active HW fighters. He lands over twice as many strikes per minute as Francis.

Is this a parody?

Gane, who has gone 25 minutes in two of his past three fights without slowing down is going to have cardio issues against Ngannou, who was breathing out of his mouth by the midpoint of the first round in his last fight?

<45>

Listen, Gane needs to keep his chin up high and his left hand low. It will confuse Frank and that's when Gane should rush in.

he kicks and circles around before ngannou starts blitzing

With complete ease, that's how

Gane going to make like work of Bumgannou. Probably ends it inside of 2 rounds

Gane had to run from Lewis a few times, so I suspect that Ngannou can corner Gane if he gives him the bum's rush at the right time.
