How does Gane handle Ngannous blitz?

Gane has excellent footwork so he has a good chance. Rozi is an excellent offensive striker but he moved straight back against Francis. Two problems with that is that the fighter moving forward can gain more ground, and also you run out of room to move back. Gane will continue to circle and potentially frustrate Francis.

I think Gane for sure gets the KO via devastating counter hook if and when Francis does blitz.

He doesn’t. And chances are, Ngannou isn’t gonna blitz him the same way he did with Roz.

This is literally the MMA version of Wilder v Fury. Gane must keep his wits about him, get in and out, and avoid a big punch. Ngannou catching anyone flush will rock him. On the other hand if Gane can hurt Ngannou either with volume or some big shots Ngannou will start to gas.

In the 2nd and 3rd fights Fury actually assumed Wilder's role and became the bully. Could he have done that the first time? Doubtful. Could Gane bully Ngannou in this fight? He has to avoid the big shots to even have a chance.

What about people acting as if something actually happened during that fight?
Somethign did happen -- Ngannou froze.

And if Gane starts to get his rhythm and either blasts some hard counters or starts getting difficult to read, I don't see why Ngannou won't freeze again.

He has to circle towards the power hand, take his time getting started (really feel francis out) and when he does he should jump into the center of the cage and start swinging at francis. Take two to give one mentality and I think he walks out of there with the belt around his waist.

We all know Cyril can evade strikes. But Francis has this insane blitz. We saw it with Rozenstruik. Looks damn near unavoidable.

Gane is fast but a Ford Escort traveling at 90 is fast is as well.

The 1st minute of this fight will probably tell us who is going to win.

Counter

Well, both. Lewis landed exactly one strike to the head. The 19 other were timid leg kicks and body strikes.

I'm not talking about Lewis I strictly talking about Ngannou. He's capable of freezing and capable to falling apart when things don't go his way (Stipe 1)

My point about bringing up the Lewis fight is that Ngannou has a lot of ways to lose and only one way to win, and I think he's finally met a guy that's big and skilled enough that he'll be outclassed entirely.

Rozenstruck ( ?) tried to punch inside Francis looping punches …..Gane will move side to side without throwing in return after a Francis blitz …..So excited for this fight

spam jab and run. spam jab and run. and... spinning wheel kick.

Tuck the chin, lean his head forward, and catch ngannous blitz on his dome and break every bone in ngannous arm.

On a more serious note, because it’s d1 ngannou we are about to see, probably a sprawl or wall walk if he’s taken down on the cage.

Once again in case I haven’t made this prediction clear enough. D1 ngannou is gunna get on top and bust a nut
Bump ;)

Gane with an all time embarrassing performance. What a joke.
