How does Charles Oliveria do against those who previously beat him?

Those are tough match-ups. Cowboy was good at range and very hard to sub, he's legit black belt level. Prime Edgar's also a tough fight. Keeps moving to outpoint, can't put him away, elite top game. Max has the volume and avoiding the ground. Pettis was a ninja standing and had a good guard. Felder had power standing and could wrestle, GnP.

I think current Charles beats prime Cowboy and Felder, but the rest are tough.
Yet dp best the living crap out of max, Oliveira will kill Max at le

Oliveira is bigger, more skilled and tougher than he was in any of his losses. There has even been noticeable improvement from the earlier fights in his win streak. He’s much crisper and more precise with his striking. He used to be much more sloppy.

I think those losses and the move up in weight made him who he is today. Charles had the talent, but for whatever reason couldn't put it all together in certain spots and that's ok early in one's career, but it's easy to get discouraged and miss the mark and become another run of the mill MMA fighter. Charles hasn't lost in 5 years and is dispatching the top of the division within three rounds. There's no guarantee that any of those fighters who beat him before, even in their prime, could beat this version of Charles. I'd give Max (though we could likely throw the first match out) and Edgar a fair play. Max is still in his prime. That would be a good rematch. Max, however, looks weak at 155, though.
