How does a Cejudo vs Yan fight play out?

I see cejudo’s ground game making Yan cautious. Cejudo smothers him o. The ground, like a little Hulk

Yan beats him and stops him within four rounds. Cejudo wouldn't last the whole 25 minutes with him before wilting. Cejudo isn't wrestling him and Yan's pressure would break him.

Agree. He "won" a VERY close decision vs Mouse, and by close I though MM won fairly obviously. Then, he beats TJ, which I was actually pulling for CCC because I can't stand TJ, but then the stoppage vs Cruz was bad. Not saying Cruz would've won, but CCC just isn't dominant.
I agree with almost everything you said except I think the cruz win was legit enough, although that's not a prime Cruz by a long way.

Tbh I literally don’t think anyone at BW can hold a candle to Petr Yan. He is the most vicious and violent fighter I have seen in the sport besides maybe Wanderlei Silva. So many guys talk about “fighting being in their blood” and how they are “not scared of anyone” but few actually back it up.

Yan is definitely not one of those guys, just a straight up badass that can’t be intimidated. I mean the beatings he put on Aldo, Faber and Sterling, those guys were shook. Imagine making Aldo shook, not even Conor could do that to the levels of Yan where Aldo is just turtling up accepting defeat.

Legit, yes. I just don't think Cruz was done yet.

Cejudo a beat wins are mm rematch he shouldn’t have won if you score it objectively. I’m not fans of either guy. Tj and Cruz both bad stoppages.

Cejudo ducked yan while he was the champ opting to fight aldo who was coming of a loss and dominick cruz who hadn't fought in 4 years

When it came to time to fight yan next he retired.

This is a crazy fight.

Since Cejudo isn't getting a direct TS at 145, he has 2 options:
1)win the BW belt back from Yan and go for 2x champ at 145
2) fight a contender at 145 before a 145 TS

I think the first option is more likely and more and has a greater legacy potential. I really hope we see that fight but I doubt it. I think Henry wants no part of Yan.

Yan by decision. Be has solid fundamentals, is well-rounded, calm under pressure, picks his shots, has real power, and seems to be in his prime.

Yan beats the shit out of him and then finishes him. Henrys defense is ass. Marlon was lighting his ass up badly before he gassed like he always does.

Yan unconscious and leaving on a stretcher. They are on different levels. Yan is Blachowicz and Cejudo is Jon Jones. The only reason Yan is champion is because Cejudo isn't there.

Badly for Cejudo.
Agreed.

Yan gets better as the fight develops. In his last 3 fights against Aldo, Sterling, and Sandhagen you can watch him systematically figure out and break down his opponents. It's so crazy how adaptable he is, outside of that huge brain-fart against Sterling.

Cejudo may steal the first round while Yan analyzes the data and puts together a game plan where he wins each of the next 4 rounds more convincingly than the last

Yan enjoys hurting and humiliating people. He does this because he loves it.
That's badass imo

Yan slowly and systematically dismantling Cejudo enroute to a late finish
