I dont even know who Kasamat beat to deserve the Edwards fight and now he is getting the #2 or 3 fighter in the UFC in Edwards. Magny was calling him out about 1 or 2 months before he got the Edwards match and then the UFC, Dana and Kasamat have the audacity to say he is a ducked fighter when in fact Magny has been calling him out. This dude is having the easiest path to a title shot ever. Easier than Conors.

Yea it's kind of a blatant and unfair fast track due to chimzat being a marketable and ultra active good fighter. But yea the jump is incredible and I think he needs to fight a top 15 first and not just jump over everyone unfairly. I don't care how often you fight and how many scrubs you murk, there should be some respect towards the other fighters battling amongst themselves just to jump up a position or two... to be passed along by Dana's latest flavor of the month is kinda insulting.

Because of the Dennis Siver fight, that was it, they ignore that Conor came into that fight at 145lbs on the dot, using that fight to not only show he can make championship weight but perform at the weight as well. It goes a long way for a promotion when fighters take the initiative to prove they can lose the extra lb.

The idea is the same. You can’t jump ahead of contenders, if you can, then dispose of rankings completely or admit, the UFC pushes certain fighters.
