I think this nails it in terms of my sentiment.I don’t think the level of growth from the last few years can continue. There’s not a lot of slack left in the workforce. So, even with great ideas and high ambition, it’s going to be harder to grow in the next few years than it’s been coming out of the recession. Talent is getting more and more expensive as the number of jobs wildly exceeds the number of qualified workers.
Honestly I feel what will really hurt things is a "behind the curtain reveal" on 1-2 companies with scandals for trying to falsify gains that are economically relevant enough that it scares the shit out of people via bankruptcy causing lending to plummet. The consumer seems pretty confident still, but I feel like the average joe who overspends is the last to figure it out and then suffers the most from overextension.
