Breh: cat, female, RIP. Called her this because she was like a bro ("bruh"), but the female version. So "breh."

Gook Gik: hamster, RIP. This word means little knick-knack/bullshit in my mom's language.

Beow: current cat, black, male. "Beowwww" is the sound this motherfucker makes when he meows so that's what I call him.

Booboo/Boobie: cousin's pitbull, not mine. Her name is actually "Bluebell" but I ain't calling her that hippie shit. So I'm the only one who calls her Booboo or Boobie, interchangeably.

1st was the kennel name when I got him. I liked it so I kept it. But he’s normally called by his nickname.

2nd was because I got him when the movie came out and he was a solid black pupper and it just seemed to fit. Now…only his grandma calls him by his name….the wife and I have called him ween dog or weenie forever.
 
Ours were all named before we even tamed them

Bootsy - mittens is over used
Tobi - tobi the tabby
Spike - as she had half a tail
Dirty curtis - because it was in a song we heard and sounded funny. Plus he was grubby and a bit of a perv so it works
 
My homie was Meowmi Supreme. I had to think of a name when we were at the vet. I think I used to call him Tiger but he didn't respond to it.
 
Dogs name is Ozzy. Also considered Floyd.
Cats name is Chunky. He was the biggest kitten in the litter
 
Years ago had a black cat name Bast after the Egyptian cat god - something to do with the dead and she was evil in appearance and deed (ended up telling most people it was "bats" cuz that was simpler)
Previous dog Luna picked by my wife & kids cuz everyone was naming their pets that 10-12 years ago (she passed last year, broke my heart)
Rescue dog Bella- that was her name when we got her and see above. Lots of people with more than one pet had the same combo (she's 15 and about to break my heart)
New puppy named Marnie after the young girl in the silly Halloween town movies my family loves (alright, I like that light-hearted, silly stuff too).
