I watched one of these “professional” slap leagues. SFleague over 4 hrs long in a tourney style format.
There’s points and penalties given for “flinching” “stepping” and “clubbing” (essentially just trying to open palm strike someone) which everyone is trying to do without getting a point deducted from the “ref”.
The fingers have to smack first I guess??
No pivoting and turning of hips (anything that can affect the smack).
The point system can’t be corrupted or influenced in any way because of that I’m sure.
Great for those that also want to place bets on this junk (they kept mentioning their partnership with draft kings) lmfao whatever.
So yeah one fat guy knocks another into boliva in the 3rd round I mean he was out of it and finally manages to stumble back to his feet, and still manages to get the dub. Because the other “professional slappers” (yes they are called that) supposed violations.
After getting the shit slapped out of you and humiliated there’s helpers from what I can see that catch you from getting your head cracked on the ground (in this case a guy with his hat backwards and a tattoo on his neck).
Nothing redeeming at all about this,it looks like instant brain damage. No matter how many bells and whistles you put on this shit, no matter what safety precautions you use, when kids (that have the attention span of gnats) and the novelty of everyone else going wtf wears off, this will be by the wayside.
It looks like a scene from idiocrocy the crowd yells 1-2-3! as a slap is loaded up, then cheers because two fat guys bitch slapped each other.
Take it as goofy entertainment but don’t try to turn this into a legitimate “sport”
