That’s pretty smart. I’m not sure the pro wrestlers would go for it, though. The top guys are probably all well paid by the WWE.

But we know that big name pro wrestlers would bring their fanbase with them. The more eyes the better. Lesnar brought a lot of eyes with him when he went to the UFC. He definitely helped to make it more mainstream.

But, I couldn’t tell you the name of even one single current WWE star. I haven’t watched it in over 30 years.

I respect rugby as a sport and have many friends that played on college and club levels

I hate the idea of power slap and have never watched a moment

My point/joke was everyone I know that played rugby got injured. ripped up Knees & ankles, cracked ribs, chipped tooth, stitches, and post game alcohol poisoning.......and none of them ever got paid a dime

Best sport for camaraderie I've ever seen but the rate of injuries I saw was ridiculously high and most of them fairly serious.
