Because there's no such thing as an MMA judging license. Commissions just use boxing licenses and assign the people to MMA cards. In South Dakota and Ohio at least, a judging license is $200 and you're in.

Because in those rounds, the striking was pretty much dead even, and Ricci was the one going forward.

All those rounds came down to was yeh, Ricci holding, but that was enough when all Tecia was doing was being held.

A few big shots by Tecia would have won her those rounds pretty easily, but she couldn't land them. She won the first on all 3 cards because she was the one landing the bigger shots.
