for it to be a sanctioned official fight, they have to release the results to the athletic commission immediately.

They're just considered exhibition fights, no matter the rounds or round length.

The semi-final fights of TUF are acheduled for 3 rounds, and the UFC chooses to count these fights on a fighters' UFC record.

Because of this, the UFC record stats won't always match the record stats that you find elsewhere, such as Sherdog.
