What don't you understand about the situation. Conor said I don't mind promoting, but I'm busy that week can we move it and they said NO FUCK YOU SHOW UP OR ELSE

And he was still going to promote. He didn't want to do a flight to Vegas during his training regime. That is all. He did not say he would do no media. And furthermore, having done more media than anyone in the last 8 months, his star is so big right now, he doesn't need to do that sort of media he used to to attract attention to an event. Others may need to because they're not as big as he is.

The only thing you can be critical of him on imo is the fact there was a commercial to film, which is really important. But even then, you could surely have filmed in New York.
 
They are programmed robot sheep...Conor let out the signal for them to complete their missions......There is no stopping them now...They must get Conor back on 200...They will stop at nothing.
 
From my understanding it's just the UFC showing Conor who's boss. I'm not sure I understand how necessary a flight to Vegas for a promotion would be though, considering the uproar a simple tweet from Conor causes at this point.

UFC are not losing face here, they have a fighter like Conor whos helped them out numerous times and all they had to say was this is a special case because he done so much for us and other fighters should learn from it. A good relationship should work for both parties.

Plus Conor was willing to appear in New York and face Nate face to face. There is know legitimate reason why this fight should be cancelled. This just the UFC saying no to Conor showing whos boss.

Excuses... Learn to accept when your boy makes a mistake. When Machida lost the belt, i didn't make excuses. The better fighter won. When Machida refused to step up a second time with Jones, i understood why he did it, but later he complained about not getting a title shot. He was wrong, if he wanted a second title shot, he should have stepped up to Jones. He didn't because he knew he needed a full camp, otherwise he would get owned by Jones.

What i'm getting at is that u can be a fan and not make a freaking excuse for everything urfighter does. It shows that ur opinion is basically shit as you will always side with ur fighter no matter what fuck ups he/she does. McGregor is fucking up a lot lately, accept that.
 
His two tweets have created more MMA media in Australia in the past week, than million and millions of dollars advertising the Rousey v Holm fight achieved… So realistically, what everyone doesn't understand is that Conor has already fulfilled his media obligations and sold the fight.

that's what you fail to realise.

He is only a big star BECAUSE of his promoting. Take that away, and he should be paid 50k/50k like any other fighter.
Besides, how do you think that the casuals would know he is fighting? It is exactly by doing promos, doing these press conferences, that would be in every major outlet.

why would Zuffa change the location of the filming just for Conor? Do you understand how EVERYONE who is involved would have to go to NY for the filming? Is it fair for everyone else? Would Conor pay for the expenses for everyone Zuffa works with to go to NY for the shooting? I don't think so.

So you are basically demanding Zuffa to pay for all the changes just to allow Conor to travel to NY but not to LA???

Sorry. Conor is a big star. but not THAT big.
 
Everyones blaming the ufc, dana, or conor for things.. The way i see it.. It's the fans faults cause they are the ones who spend money on things, ask for things, and support things so everything is the way it is cause of the fans since they are the ones who truly control the numbers.
