one of the Biggest weight cuts in history and these morons dont have a back up?

Chiesa cant fight and Pettis is staring them right in the face. Instead of telling him to make weight as a back up they waited til the last minute and giving him 1 hr to make weight.

Dana White is running a shitshow.

That is pretty crazy. How come Moreno and Bruce Leeroy weighed in, but Pettis didn't?

I know they weighed in for their show money. Maybe Petis didn't want to continue his cut if he wasn't fighting, show money or not?

Max was the backup. Everyone makes fun of Conor being inactive but no one can even stay in shape to even show up to the title fight.
 
I fully expected Ortega to be kept as a backup replacement.
Incredible he wasn't, it was almost a given that Max would miss weight.
 
Holloway was the backup...with this plan UFC had MAXed themselves out.

That's actually not what I heard him say. I heard him say max was 174 when he stepped off the plan and that was similar to what he'd cut to 145 from and that it wouldn't actually be that bad. A "normal cut" he called it.

Other than this event, what other title fight did a LW miss? None, because the guy that called himself champ was hiding and doing coke.
 
I have resisted saying this as long as I could but serious the UFC is going to shit.

This was supposed to be a huge card and has turned into one of the biggest circuses in the history of the organization.
 
Max's finally grew a brain and pulled from the career ending beating he was going to take.
