Oh I agree with you, the left definiely won the culture war Higus. They won because the simply seized the higher institutions. They seized Hollywood and the colleges long ago and started whittling away at Christian morality in America.

The right has been anti-intellectual and anti-liberal since the end of WW2. They've willingly isolated themselves from academia, and thus science and technology as well as liberal arts that influence popular culture. The left hasn't stolen culture and institutions from anyone; the right has never had anything to steal!

I disagree that they seized the higher institutions. Education can have the effect of moving people away from religion because of increasing knowledge. As for Hollywood, come on now imagine how boring movies would be if conservatives ran the show. A movie placed in the future would be no different than today because conservatives resist change.

The term "Hate Speech" is being used by the elite left in such an Orwellian way that it almost boggles the mind.

Only our leftist silicon valley overlords seem to truly know what "hate speech" means and uses it to cut the tongues of people who criticize the righteous utopian narrative of the left......conservatives.

But nothing is new here, far left marxists have always placed their constant and bloody quest for utopia on earth over individualism and freedom. They've been at it since the French revolution.

If the left isn't stopped, eventually all society will be put under their totalitarian thumb. The marxist state will control literally everything. The Orwellian end goal.

Without any kind of mass-counter protests, along with pressure from many on advertisers...it wont stop, and they will win, because it will keep happening and they will grow more and more powerful.

Congress needs public support to keep pushing what they are just starting now, the idea that the big boys need to be broken up while also threatening to end their double protection from the communications act that is protecting from lawsuits for content on their site (because they are supposed to be a neutral carrier) and also being protected by the constitution as they actually act like a publisher...which removes their right to the communications act protections.

Until that is stopped, they will continue to play this game until they have their way and then it will possibly take a war to remove that power because we are talking near total control of information technology.

Exactly. Even if there is a left leaning bias in Silicon Valley, these companies still coddled conservatives and boosted their profiles for years. Why? Because they drive engagement on their platforms like crazy.

Big tech and advertisers would love to go back to a culture that was not so sensitive to this stuff, but we live in an outrage driven "woke" society now, where rightly or wrongly, consumers can make a big stink and media will run with it. In an environment already under a microscope hosting this stuff not is simply worth the hassle.
