How can Khabib afford his own promotion?

He bought the MMA promotion for only 1M and has a lot of friends and business contacts that are very rich and into MMA so he had a built in base of investors. Khabib is a huge name in MMA, and it helps that he's introduced new weight classes. I think his org should do well.

It's my understanding his father's operation waz funded by a gangster type with deep pockets... but that they bought his share out & distanced themselves after the winfall that was the Conor fight.

2.5 million buyz starts adding up astronomically above the 1 million buy point. Conor was talking about 1.5 million buys gets him to $7 per buy and there's no telling whether it goes up higher from there. He probably walked with 15 mill from that one fight alone.
 
I think Khabib is just the poster boy and has nothing to with the business side of things behind the scenes

Khabib has access to wealth that Conor can only dream about. He has the majority of the middle east elite eating out of his hands.

How did McGregor start his own Irish Whiskey business?

He didn't. He had investors come in and with McGregor as the figurehead in the advertising it grew to be HUGE.

You can probably guess how Khabib started his own fight promotion with minimal expense to himself.
 
I am sure he's got partners, investors.
