International House Speaker Mike Johnson Breaks With Trump, Calls Putin a ‘Threat to America,’ Warns of New Axis Forming on President’s Watch

I think this is hilarious. Tankie hipsters love Russia and are anti NATO.

He's gaming on staying speaker for a long time, so he's not going to offend the war party

Lol, really digging in on that retarded "billions of dollars is peanuts" argument?
It totally is peanuts for crippling one of the biggest geopolitical rivals and aggressors for decades

We spend almost a trillion a year on the military and the billions (in equipment) we send to Ukraine make the biggest impact by far

The answer is complex. If you're already losing a war, and you have to resort to literally pulling people off the streets and forcing them into the front lines, you're now just fighting the government's war. If the will of the people is there, fine. If it's not, then you're just killing your people for the sake of it. Like it or not. surrender in the face of defeat, is an option. It ain't a fucking movie. If America were to ever invade us, I want to see your face when you're pulled off the streets to go get a bullet in the dome or burned alive. Something tells me that your feelings would be a bit more conflicted when it's your ass on the line, as opposed to some Ukrainians a million miles away, fighting for your internet feels.

Come on dude , if your country got invaded and you needed to defend it you're a man, you'd fight.

Lol. At least you're willing to admit that you think it's a good trade to wipe out full percentage points of Ukraine's population and continue destruction of their infrastructure that won't be rebuilt in this lifetime, and burn hundred of billions of US taxpayers' dollars just to slightly harm another country we aren't at war with. Some might consider that evil, but you're somehow able to convince yourself that you're the "good guy" for trying to push poor people into an unwinnable war against their will because you're too cowardly to declare war yourself on the country you want to harm.

Well and the whole “America is the axis of evil” argument as well. Seeking a diplomatic end to the war is the preferred result. Maybe the mineral deal could be restructured to be more favorable to Ukraine, but in any case, it’s not like America is cutting funding to Ukraine and then giving money to Russia to support their war effort. If that were the case then I’d say that America has officially turned to the dark side.

Saying “we’ve spent enough on this war, we aren’t giving anymore funds” doesn’t mean that the US is siding with Russia. I think that Trump is trying to strike a deal to end the war for his own personal gain so that he can say “look how great I am, I ended the war”, but if it ends the war on terms that both sides agree upon then I’m in favor of it, and I think the citizens of both countries involved would be as well. And before anyone calls me a MAGAtard or some stupid shit, I don’t like Trump at all, you can check my post history leading up to the election as I made that very well known.

What money is exactly being spent? The majority of “spending” is getting weapons that are full of dust in the bunkers of Lockheed Martin lol

The money goes back to America and wouldn’t exist otherwise. The American economy has excelled due to this very reason.

It’s funny watching America cut down trees they created themselves.

America has controlled the un/eu for decades using them as a soft power to control Russia but now they are destroying it and claiming they were created to undermine America. It’s absolutely baffling to watch unfold.

You’re quoting a person who has chastised people leaving war torn countries to come to Europe. He called them pussys etc.

Now that same person is calling people who stay and fight, idiots.

How do you even talk to such a person that changes his mind based on the people he is talking about? If you point it out then he will say you should ignore his other posts and stay on topic.

You can’t talk to people like that. They are not human

I was anti NATO before it was cool. USA wastes far too much money defending people who don't even like us.

Those hipsters always been anti Nato. They side towards communists. You got something in common with them minus affinity towards to China?
I think its absurd that the US contributes more to Europes security than most of Europe combined. Especially when you consider the problems we have on our own land.

Our values, Europe and the USA ,are slowly dividing. I think we should act accordingly.

NATO got on Russia doorstep, FAFO
Yeah except they didn’t. You know, until Russia invaded and now everyone in the area is clamoring to join NATO, an organization that was probably starting to die on it own. Now Finland is in NATO thanks to this invasion. So tell me, who fucked around and found out?

When was the last time US soldiers died for its NATO allies?
I know the last time NATO allied died for US, it was in Afghanistan..

One of the few things I liked the Trump has done was calling out NATO members for not spending their obligated amount on defense. But don’t get this twisted. We don’t spend a jillion dollars on defense because of NATO. That’s for us. We spend it because we want to stay the worlds super power.

I am just curious how much you think the US contributes to NATO? in terms of percentage?

War!
What is it good for Mike?

Actually surprised he spoke out against the administration.
Not being in lock step puts a target on this dudes back. Maybe he wants out of the speaker position?

Over 20% I believe.
edit-
22% and thats out of 32 countries who are members.

Why are you lying? A mod said you requested a ban and that the request was honored while you were on your little mental health break.
Yeah you’re going to have to back that one up. Im highly dubious that a mod banned anyone simply because he requested it. If he reported someone and they got banned, it’s probably because they were a frequent flyer on the yellow cards and had posted something bannable.

I’m not a big fan of crying to the mods. I just don’t believe that banned someone because a poster didn’t like them.

NATO had its own goals in Afghanistan.
