My first child my ex had a C section and I was able to just sit behind the curtain and hold my ex's hand. I quickly glanced around and saw the horror of what a C section is and turned away.

This time around my wife had a normal birth and the women got me and involved holding my wifes leg, seeing her poop come out, she asked me to cut the cord and I said no thank you. I was honestly annoyed by the whole thing. I paid thousands of dollars for you to do this shit. I don't want to do anything but hold my wifes hand and not see shit. Even in health class when they tried to show us a live birth I had to put my head down damn near as soon as it started.

Yeah, watching a live birth is fucking gross as hell. It’s a good thing a woman is out of commission for 6 weeks post birth because after seeing what I saw when my wife gave birth, especially the second time, I needed about that long myself to recover, because if my wife had asked me if I was in the mood I probably would have gone full Jon Snow

lol fuck seriously. I got two weeks off after our child so me and my wife spent a lot of time together just taking care of my son and hanging out. One day she looks over and was like "Thanks for being so cool about not having sex for so long. I know how hard that is for you". I just nodded my head and took the praise.

We had some home births with midwives and everything was fine, but placenta is fucking gnarly looking.

Giant blood bag with an alien looking tube on it.

Egg was Aegon V. Rhaegar’s son would’ve been Aegon VI.

I am still glad because I was really impressed with the first episode (I will admit to having some concerns for the first 5 minutes)

Looks like HBO has another hit. I doubt it will be as big as GoT but that is not a realistic goal. I assume that HBO is thrilled with the reception.

Hats off to HBO for taking their time to get it right. Took some real stones to cancel the other GoT spin off after spending $30m on the pilot.
 
I haven't seen it mentioned in the thread, unless I missed it, but did the screen appear to be kind of washed out, or dim? I wasn't getting the vibrant colors like I did with Game of Thrones. Wasn't sure if anyone else was getting this.

I wonder if HOTD doing well enough, will really give the Jon Snow spinoff some legs? Or is that one already a go?

Havent been able to stop thinkin about it. Completley reignited my interest in the lore.

Unlike many others I didnt not have a problem with the conclusion of the series in what happened. Just how rushed and sloppy it was. So I am still all in as far as the lore and so on.
