Horror News & Discussion Redux

Oh SHITE. Here's a good one. Anyone ever seen the late 90's film The Cube? Where you need to solve math problems are get sliced ubes? Frakken awesome...just remembered it. But if you are claustrophobic forget it!

Yeah mang. Cube gets a lot of love around here. Very original film, and another one of those films where not knowing exactly what and why is a huge plus.

Skip the sequels, if you haven't seen them. I didn't heed someone's advice here, and wish I had. It is better not knowing why the plot is happening.

I heard NADA about it which prolly means it's cEli Roth is usually at least entertaining but this one I think misses the mark. The trailer looks hokey 4 some reason too. I am gonna pass on it.
It could be a case of the delays deflating the hype though. We need someone here who has seen it to tell us what they thought. Everyone wanted to.see it, not sure very many people did.

@Dizzy?

Thanks, but I'm afraid that's not it. Think I' that movie on my watch list though!
Any other details you can give about that film? Around what year it may have been made? American? Any other plot details?

It was probably American, maybe English. I don't think it was very old. I would say definately made after 2000.

Only other details that I can remember is that the geeky guy with the glasses ran away after some shit went down, but came back later. And the girl was trapped in the basement with the "entity". She tried to escape through a hatch, but she couldn't get out and died. The others found her later and then police and the ambulance came to help.

That's really all I can remember.

The Editor was a fun spoof/homage to giallo/Italian horror.

2015 was a great year for horror comedies with Final Girls, What We Do In the Shadows and The Editor(imo).

When did you see it?

Found it. It was the innkeepers.

Have no idea why it took me so long to find it. Guess I just used the wrong search terms, or had a brain fart while looking through the results.

I was just about to get cracking when I read this. That title had actually crossed my mind. I don't really remember the film itself, haven't seen it in some time.

I'd say all the Centipede films are pretty horrific. I've only seen the 1st two. Really the creepiest of all. Ugh I wanna barf and heave just thinking 'bout them.

Here's one I wanna see but it's not on Netfly. :-(

Her Name is Torment

Pass on the third one. It has a couple of scenes that are completely revolting.

anyone see Krampus? I loved it, yes it's goofy at times, but it's funny and Krampus himself had a good look

seems to be successful too

Hey mang. Haven't seen you around. Glad you are.

I want to.see this pretty badly. You know, the guy that made Trick r Treat and whatnot. Not usually fond of the rating, but I will make an exception for this.

I've heard it had its Gremlins vibe going, which is a good thing in my book. I'll definitely check it out.

I heard that Andy Williams song from Gremlins the other day. I know it wasn't made specifically for Gremlins, but Gremlins is all I think about when I hear it.

I just can't watch films like Human Centipede or Serbian film.

The "shock value" films.

It's not that I can't handle the ridiculous bullshit, it's just no point. I'm just gonna watch over an hour film with sick shit just to shock me? I'll pass.
