College Hoops 2024-2025 Thread *** Florida National Champions ***

I just saw the new AP rankings. I’d love to hear some of these people with votes have to explain themselves. 1 person voted for South Carolina women’s team as #1 over ucla. What the fuck? UCLA is undefeated and beat the fucking brakes off South Carolina on the court. It was 20+ point lead for ucla the whole game. South Carolina had to go on a late run just to lose by 15. There’s no way you could see an undefeated team destroy another team and still say, yeah but my rankings aren’t based on what happens on the court, I’m going with the losing team.

Top 10 matchup for the ages between the Florida Gatahs and Kentushy! Florida is still 1 of 3 remaining unbeatens

We're a good team but we've also played a soft schedule. Definitely dropping this game and Tuesday at home against Tennessee.

We tried to help your guys get it today. But thankfully Brea was on today. We can't rebound or defend We need a 100 or more to win . We will be ranked like 6 or 7 after weekend but wouldn't be shocked if we out of top 25 by Feb. Dont defend or rebound the slaughterhouse that is SEC will eat us alive. SEC is about 3 teams UT, auburn, an Bama. You guys are right with us but a higher ceiling at least you play a little D and try to rebound.

Kent Youngblood of the Minneapolis Star Tribune is the offender you’re looking for.

Cassandra Negley of Yahoo Sports was the Notre Dame voter.

Wow, Vandy was a dumpster fire under Jerry Stackhouse. Mark Byington comes in from Jamie Madison and cleans it up over night lol. Stackhouse must be the worst hoops coach not named Patrick Ewing or Juwan Howard.

Well this game was a pleasant surprise.

<DCWhoa>

Imagine being ranked #1 and only hitting 11 shots ALL GAME. <lmao>

42, 6, and 7 for Cooper Flagg (11/14 and 4/7 from 3) at Duke! Maybe the best stat line I have ever seen in a college hoops match

Dark, dark days ahead for Calipari?

Houston was down 6 with 18 secs left in OT to Kansas then won in double OT! I was gonna watch it later on ESPN + but they spoiled it on the bottom line during the Aussie Open final!

Last 5 years in the KenPom for Houston:

2025 (currently): #3
2024: #2
2023: #2
2022: #2
2021: #5

Truly mind blowing for a program without a ton of prestige. Also they were a mid-major from 2021-2023

'Bama at Miss St tonight at 9. Miss St -1.5. I like 'Bama here. Thoughts?

UNC-Duke in a bit. I took UNC +10.5 at +150. The Heels will either keep it close or be blown out. Send bodies at Flagg. Beat him up, and make them beat you with 3's.

Fools errand. Looks like the powers that be will give the great white hope a wide berth. Oh well.
