Holly Holm needs to stop making sounds when she's attacking.

She made a lot of mistakes last night and that's one of them for sure. Making that noise when you strike only makes sense if at some point, you stop doing it and start throwing shots without it to surprise them. She did it the other way around, tried to feint and make the noise without striking, which did absolutely nothing against someone who was sitting and waiting to counter her.

Also Jackson-Wink seems to have it in her head that she has to throw high volume to win on points, so she got countered all night while throwing the same charging straight-straight-highkick combo that never landed. Holly just isn't as good when she has to be the aggressor, she was best against someone like Ronda that just kept charging at her, the last two fights she was the one chargin and getting countered all night.

Yep, and moreover, it's not like her attacks were not predictable enough already....the first time I saw her fight was against Ronda, and I obviously thought she'd be a great champ...but that fight actually showed more about Ronda than it showed about Holm. She looked awful against Miesha, then even worse against Shevchenko. Now this?? And how in the world does anyone get a fucking shot coming off two horrible showings (and losses)??

Yeah. Hate to insinuate things but it was so strange that she suddenly had good power in the Rousey fight when she has pretty much lacked any power whatsoever in every MMA fight before and after. The combo of her having more power and Rousey recklessly running into it made that fight turn out how it did.
