Holm is the worst fighter on the ground yet Ronda couldn't do shit to her. Ronda must be even worse on the ground.

If I recall correctly you have said some really bad stuff about Miesha in the past when Ronda was champ.
 
Sherdoggers should start applying the standards they have towards fighters to themselves.

Sherdog would turn into an army of super capable beings as opposed to well.. what they are now.
 
I'm still a fan, and I favor her in rematches with both meisha and Honda...

Actually I think you are referring to me saying bad stuff about Holly, this was back when tons of people were hyping her as a 'real fighter' who would destroy the whole division based on her highlight reel and I said she was overrated since she looked 'nervous and hesitant' IMO against low level competition outside the UFC and I thought she would be petrified ala Germaine De Randamie by any real takedown threat. What I didn't realize is that Holly is actually really skilled, her style just is very defensive lol, and that Ronda actually doesn't have wrestling takedowns. So both the people saying she was far above the division and I were wrong, it turned out she is an elite fighter who is a bad matchup for Ronda, but not clearly better than other contenders like Cupcake.
 
Let's be real here.....most women don't wanna fight cyborg. So if your upper tier why risk a smashing?

Styles make fights, wrestling is anathema to strikers like Holly Home whereas Cyborg is mainly another less technical striker which is more up Home's alley. I'd pick Holly over Borg and Holly actually lost to Tate.

That and read the rest of that discussion. Honestly I think the main point of disagreement between me and reasonable Cyborg supporters (like yourself) is that you place a lot of stock in Cyborg's size/strength advantage and I place less in it. I think David can beat and be better than Goliath. And at 140 the weight difference between Cyborg and Holly would be like 5 lbs, come on. I don't think the 5 lbs will be more problematic for HH than dat rassling.

PS. the weight difference between Tate and Holm may have been greater than the one between Holm and Cyborg at 140. The highest weight I've heard Cyborg come in the cage was 168 at 145, at 140 she might come in at 163? While Holm has cut from 157 to 135, so 157 Holm vs 163 Cyborg. Meanwhile Tate is 148, so there might have been up to a 9 lb difference between Tate and Holm vs a 6 lb difference between Holm and Cyborg at 140. But Meesh... is just that good.

Holly is a great counter striker. She sucks when she has to lead the dance.
