Holly Holm Disappointment

I'm still a Holly fan. The lead up to, the actual fight, and the immediate aftermath of the Ronda fight is a legendary chain of events. Nothing will erase that.

I think she has a good chance to win back the belt. Even if she doesn't that doesn't change one of the greatest performances we've seen against a mythical creature.
 
I am still a Holly fan and always will be. I never could stand Ronda and never will. I hope Ronda gets KO'd in all of her future fights.

You don't know. Holly and Cyborg are completely different types of fighters. We will not know till we see it but I favor Ronda over Cyborg and Holly over Ronda unless Ronda can figure out how to get her hips in one someone that is as evasive as Holly.

Yep Cyborg would destroy Ronda. That fight will never happen though because Ronda will run away yet again and retire.
 
You would have to be retarded to think that Holm was invincible. She had never really been tested on the ground. Now we know.

If anything give more credit to Miesha for fuckin toughing it out and getting the finish.

Holm was winning the fight until Tate was able to submit her.

The Tate who beat Holly was stronger and smarter and better trained than the 2011 Tate. Just look at her arms. And the more patient, technical stand up game. She has evolved into a much better fighter. That's why - while I would bet on Ronda against her if someone gave me even money - I may well bet on Tate given what the Vegas odds will probably be.

Holly avoided the submission from Ronda who is supposed to be some BJJ wizard on the ground who could arm bar Cain,beat Mike Tyson and most male bantamweights.

Holly and Conor are nothing alike. They are polar opposites.
 
Who cares, for what she did to Ronda I'm pretty sure the majority of sherdog is greatful. Whatever she does, that win is her biggest defiant career win and will go down as one of the bigest in the history of that division and in mma in general. Ronda or Tate will never top that victory..no one will ever forget the absolute smashing she gave Ronda, when Ronda looked unbeatable.

Conor lost first on the feet. So he learned even at his best facet he's not the best.

I don't see how you can say that Tate is a tougher opponent unless you are counting on Cyborg being depleted from the cut to 140 or are talking about a match at 135.
 
I LOL at people who actually believed she was going to be more than a 1 hit wonder. Its like they never saw her other UFC fights.

This is true. Miesha has nothing for Cyborg. I like Miesha but she had better stay away from Cyborg as Miesha will get her face mangled and bad. I don't want to see that.
