Ok recency bias aside but I'm going to put in a vote for Volk v Makhachev, that was as good as MMA gets really. You need to consider the guys they've beat to get to this, plus how they've beaten them. Olivera had nothing for Islam on the ground and Islam didn't really get close to submitting Volk.

Plus Islam had his moments on the feet, remember Volk outstruck Aldo quite convincingly, also dominated the last Holloway fight. Top shelf stuff!
