Here we go. Jeff Sessions resigns as AG

Trump=predictable as hell

The 1970s called they want their corrupt president back....

Trump, the master manipulator. He's smart but in all the wrong ways. Selfish and evil......

This does 2 things

1.) Takes any wind out of the Dem win of the house by eating news cycles
2.) Lets him put in a cronie that will kill the Russia investigation and obstruct anything the Dems try to do

Now watch Trump turn the tables and legalize marijuana on the fed side.
As dumb as this sounds that move alone would probably ensure his victory in 2020. Libs too stoned to go vote him out lol
Trump can't just legalize pot. He can order law enforcement to keep a blind eye, but actual legalization would require legislation.
He can order the DEA via the AG to reschedule cannabis, so yes he technically can. However, Trump cannot create a framework for cannabis to be sold, taxed, and regulated; that would be the responsibility of Congress. Of course, there's no chance in hell that Trump would just legalize it without giving the government a way to profit from it, so we're stuck waiting on Congress for this one.

And with this democrats begin hysterically bemoaning the loss of the most regressive, socially conservative USAG I can remember. What a time to be alive
Yeah, because Democrats care about the rule of law. Republicans used to but that has changed under Trump (that or they were faking it, which is possible).

You think this is the work of a master manipulator?

<{walkerwhut}>

Will he now be a hero to the media?

Why do you do this?

No, he will not be a "hero" to the media or to anyone. Just like Cohen isn't a hero, Manafort isn't a hero, Tillerson isn't a hero, Comey isn't a hero, Omarosa isn't a hero. They are, however, former Trump surrogates, appointees, and affiliates who had been proudly touted by Republicans as being honorable and trustworthy ad nauseum up until the point that they were forced out. So, naturally, it would follow that they have some valuable insights through both their office and general professional exposure to Trump and their aforementioned honorability.

Sessions will be humiliated by the media just like Cohen and Omarosa were, and then Republican backers will say the media is being hysteric and hypocritical by using those Republicans' very own words against them.

Trump supporters are like, stupid liberals. trump can't break the law. He is the law.

Sessions didn't deserve his treatment at the hands of Trump, and I commend him for recusing himself from the incontrovertibly valid Russian investigation (it's 2018 folks, stop being ostriches).

Still, I can't say I mind this. I hope the next AG is equally professional, but less anti-marijuana.

"In an extraordinarily combative news conference Wednesday after voters delivered him a rebuke by giving control of the House to Democrats, President Trump went after Republicans, Democrats and the media.

He mocked Republican candidates who distanced themselves from him, chided a reporter for asking a "racist question," and walked away from the lectern at one point, as an aide tried to wrest a microphone out of a reporter's hands.

Trump said that if Democrats try to use their majority to issue subpoenas, it would be a "war-like posture."

He said that he could work with Democrats on issues such as infrastructure and health care, but that if they conduct investigations into his administration, "then we're going to do the same thing, then government comes to a halt and I blame them."
