"Unintentional" apparently. Weird how that happens when he isn't doing well.

Why won't they take points from Jon Jones for eye pokes?

I don't think they ever do on the first one. Might as well take your 1 eye poke free of charge.

It's a joke how he consistently gets away with this shit. I know they usually get a bit of leeway for the first offence but he has extensive history with eye pokes.

got to give him the first one off. anyone should get a stern warning after the first and automatically deduct a point after that should it happen more. 3 should be a DQ, no doubt about it.

That's absurd if the person that's doing it is a repeat offender.

Either Jones should start getting deducted right away or they need to do something with the gloves, that guy has eye pokes every fucking fight. Yeah it's instinctual to try and push the guy off you as he's coming but you can do that without having your fingers ramming into your opponents eye.

I am surprised he only used one eye poke this time.

Rogan's comment was a good one ("the first") as if he expected more.

nobody's perfect. a simple way to factor that in the ref game is to give both fighter's a clean slate. can't be biased, that's worse than eye-poking.

Lol at the referee explaining how JBJ should keep his fingers. It seemed more like a friendly advice than a warning.
