Everything he is good at, Henry is better. This fight needs to happen.

I legitimately cannot see how can Henry avoid being brutally outclassed and overpowered. There is nothing he does better expect pure wrestling and that will be more than mitigated by Volks’ size, strength and technique. There is no way he can hold him down and that is the onlly thing that he can MAYBE do to him.

I like Cejudo but in this matchup Volk will have the height advantage. He is honestly rarely the big man in a fight.

To be honest if Yair had even 10% of takedown defense he could have won the fight. His standup was better than Volk.

Everything he does Henry does better? Bruh. What’s their respective records in 2023? Get out of here. Volk could even challenge him to a steak cook off and cejudo would get worked there as well. Inside and out of the octagon. It’s Volk’s world.

I think you’re confusing that fight with moreno’s.

He didn't use it - his best bet was to take some risks and basically risk gassing out with heavy shots from the outside. Instead he let Volk stay close and walk him down from round 1. But could have predicted the same based on the Max fights. Yair isn't a stand up god or anything, he's landed some impressive shots.

The Cejudo I saw against Aljo isnt that guy anymore.

Maybe before the 2 year absence he had a shot, but I would still favor Volk.

Volk is THAT good.

He doesn't need to be a stand up God, what I saw was his stand up was better than Volk's. The major difference in the fight was Volk's ability to easily take down Yair - who basically had zero ground game.

My thoughts on it is if Yair, had better take down defense, forcing the fight to stay on their feet, I believe we may have seen a different outcome.
