Henry Cejudo should have never come back

*He should have never left. "Legacy" and "Record" are completely pointless and not worth worrying about. If modern day fans don't know Randy Couture or Wanderlei Silva, they sure as hell aren't going to remember Cejudo in a few years.

As a small weight fighter who wasn't champ for very long and really wasn't an mma fighter for that long in general, Cejudo should not have wasted years of his prime sitting on the shelf. He will regret that missed income in 20 years much more than he misses his shattered aura now

He was doing podcasts with Iron Mike during his retirement. I suppose he made good money during that time. I think they stopped since tho so hence the comeback

He already had a loss in the UFC, a pretty brutal one too.
He had no unbeaten aura to protect. He should not have retired. He had a shot at beating all of these guys, now he'll lose to them.

It's not revisionist anything, it's what I thought when those wins took place, and its what I think now. You can explain it away, because that's literally what happened. TJ at 125 is a JOKE. Cruz WAS old and WAS on short notice. DJ WAS a super close decision, and Moraes WAS beating his ass until he gassed out. What 'era'? It wasn't even that long ago. Apart from Moraes who was dogwalking him in the first round, anytime Cejudo fought anyone good in their prime at 135, he lost. He was never that guy, and I don't care about what ifs if he hadn't retired, maybe he would have gotten exposed even sooner

Yes if Cejudo didn't beat the all time greatest and P4P #1 fighter in the world, and half a dozen other ranked fighters... he would be made up version you have in your head.

This comes off so weird. Henry didn't accidentally beat half a dozen ranked opponents. He was a really good fighter. Even coming back from retirement he went to a razor thin decision with the literal world champion in his return.

Think he’s been exposed as never being that good anyways and should probably stay retired.
He's pretty good. The issue is he's a 37 year old manlet. That wouldn't be so bad at LHW or HW.

He shouldn't of retired, but he did. Wasted time to make money and get CTE. I don't care if someone comes out of retirement, but this ain't a forgiving sport it seems. So taking time off can backfire. Also maybe instead of wasting time trolling people and planning practical jokes he should be spending that time training. Every minute you're not practicing, someone else is and at that level don't waste your time with useless shit.

Hey sherbro! If you think about your job do you care about your legacy? I dont.

If I need money I do long shift. Its not prime me after 12 hours but I dont care. And I like my job.

Mma fighters retire when they are young. You better have long ass bread if you retire at 40yo.

Invest what they made and get a normal job to live on if they have to.
