Bizarre that many itt are expressing the pov that guys on the top of the card shouldn't get more, along with the lower level guys. If a guy is generating millions in revenue then yes, he should be paid accordingly.

The thing about Walmart is, there are a bunch of other competitors within the same field who pays a lot more. Not the case with the UFC and fighting. UFC claims to be the top of the sport and not a whole lot of options outside of the UFC. It would be like being in the NFL and complaining about pay, but then go to Uzbekistan to play football and expect to be paid more. That ain't happening, because the NFL (and UFC) are the top promotion of the sport.

Not to mention the fact that the UFC has bought up a lot of its competitors in the past which further shows the UFCs monopolistic grip on the sport. Would be different if the UFC didn't claim to be the biggest sport in the world. Yet they still pay their fighters peanuts. Then the contracts fuck over the fighters where they can't just up and leave over the pay dispute. Look at GSP and how he is still getting fucked over by the UFC and can't leave his contract yet. And many consider GSP the goat, so imagine how much worse some of the other shit fighters get screwed by the U. F.ight C.heap.

All the UFC has to do to fix this is make the revenue split closer to 50:50 instead of letting the fighters get 15% (which I'm sure the lower guys/gals don't get close to 15% of the cut). But you shills keep defending Dana and his shitty tactics to continually screw the fighters over.

GSP got what he deserved. Gifted a belt then ran away without defending it. Guarantee he was expected to defend it when they agreed to the MW title fight.

If fighter contracts are so bad then why hasn't one been leaked? You'd think there would be copies of all the details of this so called exploitation since it's so terrible. The UFC does far more for fighters than any other organisation. The only people complaining are probable wearing two masks, lining up for their fifth jab and praising the amazing work Joe Biden has done so far.

- there are no teams and other organisations making their own cash from merch / memberships
Etc the overall owner gets a cut eg every league that this is being compared to
- the costs involved in setting up these events in each city is massive compared to other sports who's cities build the stadiums and arenas
