Hendo: Why win/loss is not everything

How bout hearing it from the man himself, that’s who Im referring to.

By the way i know you saying Dan Henderson reach is 71 was not a typo someone posted the same exact OP as you on Facebook, by the name of MMA outsiders which that is either you on Facebook or you just copy and pasted it. Either way it’s not a typo and your were wrong.

It’s okay to admit you’re wrong, that’s how people grow and learn.

Im glad you posted the video so everyone can see the context you always leave out. He said he is 183lbs. That is called present tense. That means that at the time of that interview. As in after his health/gut issues.

The fact still remains that come foght time during is career (past tense) he was 190+ lbs.

As far as him being a small WW, perhaps by today's WW height standard he is smaller but him and Hughes were very big. I mean 20lbs gained for fight night is not small. There are more guys that tend to be taller and lankier today. Similar to Anderson when he was WW.

As I said to someone else. Size is not just height or weight. Its a combination and to take it back to what the OP Hendo and GSP were not that far off from each other.

But go ahead and keep twisting yourself in k it's over me bud. Its quite amusing

LOL, brah the goal, posts. Hahahahahah Jesus Christ.

He says when he was fighting, in the interview.

Ya ok sherbro. Keep doing mental gymnastics cuz I showed you that there is merit to what O said while you came at me aggressively and disparagingly for no reason.

Walk around weight is the weight they live their lives at so of course its relevant. Optimal weight is going to be different for every fighter for an amalgam of reasons. Fact is theyre similar in size. Weight, height, reach. You can add whatever you want but that fact remains

Fact remains they are a full weight class apart. Period.
The only mental gymnastic in on you around the "no camp" weight BS.

There is tons merit in Henderson's strenght of schedule given his size, even though used to struggle vs smaller guys: Shields, Misaki, Ninja, Newton...

There is no merit on starting a thread on sherdog to say he is "about same size" than GSP lol get a grip. Yea its stupid, shertard, childish, whatever u wanna call it

Dan's unification bout with Rampage to determine the #1 LHW in the world was 7 months after KOing Wand to become Pride's #1 LHW.

Wtf are you talking about
You’re talking to a poster who constantly changes and adds stipulations on PrideFC fighters.

"Childish" from the guy who's first response is unhinged lol.

Rumble fought at 170 but walked around at over 200. Of course the no camp weight and size matters. But go ahead and keep believing it doesn't i really dgaf

And both guys he mentioned were Pride fighters. Just like the guy your responding to, its clear you dont know know how the passage of time works 🤣

Hendo was the #1 MW years before that. He hadn't been the #1 MW for a while.

In no way shape or form wpuld he have been #1 MW and LHW at the same time

Again you dont know how past tense and present tense works 🤣

Here's more evidence that you don't t understand how time, present tense and past tense works lol

There is a direct quote from GSP saying that hes 188 - 190 on fight night

Dude….. I give sources and you still can’t see where your wrong. GSP said he was NEVER a big welterweight and weight 183lbs when he WAS fighting, Not currently.

It’s all good though, everyone can see your slimy ways. It’s good in way, shows we cant take your posts serious when you have some type of intent.

It’s “typo”s bro.

Those who know, know. Hendo was a beast and one of the best ever.

I don't know if he belongs on the mount rushmore, but he is definitely a hall of famer and an all-time bad ass.

KO'd Fedor at HW while weighing 207 lbs lololol

But you said he was BIGGER than 190+ closer to Dan Hendersons 200lbs.

So what is it? He’s 188? 190? Or 200lbs like Dan Henderson? You already lied about Dan hendersons reach claiming it’s a typo. You are all over the place.

I always thought it was a shame he didn't embrace the Hollywood Henderson nick name.

And again you leave out the context (like 12th time now)

When I was wrong about the reach it was actually that Hendos reach is LESS. As in GSP has MORE reach 😂 that hurts your argument 🤣.

I just gave you a direct quote from GSP refuting what you keep saying. AND I gave you multiple other sources backing what I said 190+. Your very own video doesn't back you 🤣.

You seem to think that GSP saying he ways 183 NOW means that he always weighed 183 other than the weigh in. That of course is absurd.

Meanwhile I've been saying he weighed around 190 or higher. Which all my sources back.

Please though, keeping g tripling down despite the facts point blank in your face

Go watch the entire interview on the Pound4Pound. GSP clearly states “Was” and “Never” a big WW. the short I posted is cut

In terms of personal opinion, I put Hendo over guys like Khabib that never challenged themselves outside of their weight class. Having no losses is super impressive, challenging yourself time and time again against the best in the world at various weight classes clears his little undefeated streak, imo.
Um khabib was like 11-0 at ww. And had multiple fights in the same night. And all of that was as a 20-21 year old kid. Sure he wasnt fighting seasoned veterans, but he was never opposed to actually going to ww in ufc. Its just the way it worked out. He missed a ton of time due to injuries as well. It is what is.

Impressive resume for a guy that can barely turn his head. Stud.

Still feel Shogun got robbed in there against him.
Also Anderson running through Henderson is an underrated win. Andy back then still having that granite chin, eating H bombs for breakfast.
Shogun got robbed? Of winning. There is no world where you can argue Shogun won
