I need helpful Ideas on how to build functional strength, I am 6'2 and 155 and while I can do sets of 40 pushups, lots of situps etc i seem to be stuck at a limit. BTW despite the fact that i eat a lot i just don't gain weight. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Read the FAQ and then come back and ask questions.

I will let this thread but here's the short answer to your problems:

    Eat more, read the stickies.

Do NOT post again until you have read the FAQ at the top of the strength and power forum, or I will ban you without question. Do not say thank you, do not acknowledge this post, do not post in S&P until you read the FAQ.

the questions I ask most "hardgainers"
-What does your routine look like
-what did you have for breakfast
-what did the last meal replacement shake you drank look like and how often do you drink similar shakes
-what's your daily caloric intake (you don't know this? you should.)
