Help with Cleto Reyes sizing

Hi all!

Longtime stalker on sherdog forums for boxing purposes
I have questions regarding Cleto Reyes Training Velcros. I cant try out the gloves anywhere so i would appreciate your help.
How overweight are Cletos? I am torn between 14 and 16 oz. Also i have read that the hand compartment is alot bigger in 16oz, so i would like for someone who has them to tell me if they would be a good fit on my hands, my hand circumference is 8,46in (21,5cm), and hand length 8,07in (20,5cm).

assuming your measurements are 100% done correctly, your hand is smaller than mine, but fingers are slightly longer. I prefer the fit of the 14oz trainers, I cant stand how the 16oz fits.
Reyes trainers come in at ~2 oz heavier.

thanks for the answer, hand circumference was done on a ''non-fisted'' hand, so i suppose that is the correct way

I weighed my friend's cleto reyes 12oz and their actual weight was 15oz.
I believe csquaredboxing weighed the 16oz at around 18.5oz
So the 14oz probably weigh around 16.5-17oz.
I am thinking of buying 14oz too and my hand circumference is 23cm.
I am afraid they will be too snug.
I have sabas 16oz proseries and they are comfortably snug.

Just seen this all the cleto velcro seem over weight, lace ups less so...my 16oz sparing gloves for example (as far as I remember) weighed 18.5oz and 19oz

Those hybrid fit cuffs are pretty off too:
M = rated to 14oz, actual weight over 15oz
L = rated 16 to 18oz, actual weight 19.4 and 19.5oz. When they get wet, I've weighed them in at 22+oz.
As far as pocket size, the newer models (especially the hybrid fit cuffs) aren't as big & roomy as the old velcros.
