Fighters who they think are marketable often get paid more, this could be the case for her. She also could do something on the side. Whatever it is though it seems to be her choice to do it.

Amanda Nunes is currently a -800 favorite, and no disprespect to the Venezuelan Vixen, but that is an insult to the The Lioness. Julianna Pena has only won two fights in five years, and let's be honest, she didn't exactly wow in her victories over Nicco Monatano and Sara McMann.

I'm confused 1) how she has a title shot and 2) with good looks like hers, what's she doing fighting when she could parlay her looks towards success elsewhere. For example, her sister was a weathergirl, then got a job at Microsoft.

You never know. This could be another Matt Serra moment. Hopefully.

Looked it up it says she makes 45k show/win. Which is really good. She can easily live off 1 or 2 fights a year.

She is also the English Commentator for Combate and I believe she is married. I assume her husband has a decent job.

1- she has been constantly making noise and talking shit about Nunes. She’ll get another payday and Amanda will stack another victims head on the totem pole.

2- she’s doing what she chose to do in life. Maybe she likes to fight. I get a kick out of ppl who say things like “she’s too pretty for that” (whatever that is) meanwhile she’s envisioning herself scraping and punching some girl in the face. Maybe she doesn’t put her looks on the pedestal that you do.
