Help me decide on a Star Wars game

I'm gonna recommend Star Wars: The Old Republic and Star Wars Galaxies (Emu). Both Free-2-Play.

Download Dolphin and play Rogue Squadron 2.

Oooh this thread made me nostalgic as hell. I actually remember playing an RTS Star Wars game as a kid. I looked it up, found it, and actually bought it.

KOTOR I and II were some of my favorite games ive played, loved both of them

Also this. :(

It's probably ok. I'm not sure I would be able to enjoy that old of a game when playing it the first time today. I need nostalgia to overcome the tech gap, so I've probably missed the train on that one.

Ok, so I bought the Star Wars Collection on Steam to get in the right state of mind for the next two weeks. There's a lot of dead meat there, but I figured it had enough quality in it to make it worth the low price.

The contents (with notes on personal experience) are as follows:

Dark Forces
KOTOR
The Force Unleashed I and II
Battlefront II
Empire at War
Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight
Jedi Academy
JK: Mysteries of the Sith
JK II: Jedi Outcast
KOTOR 2
Republic Commando
Starfighter
The Clone Wars

I've played KOTOR I and Dark Forces I and II, but otherwise, I don't really know any of them. I remember oddly little of KOTOR, even though I enjoyed it tremendously, while the two DF games are for some reason quite fresh in my mind.

So, what should I play? It's a fine balance here between quality and datedness. Any opinions? Advice? Neccesary mods?

I'd recommend Empire at War if you like strategy games. I actually just reinstalled Empire at War and the Forces of Corruption expansion last night and played for a while. It's good fun and the graphics still hold up well enough that it doesn't bother me too much. KOTOR 2 is also good if you've played through KOTOR already. The Force Unleashed 1 and 2 are fun games but also quite short, it'll probably take less than 10 hours to beat each one.

Thanks. I'm a big strategy fan, but more on the Europa Universalis/Civ type than RTS, which I have the impression is the main part of Empire at War. I played through the original Warcraft and Starcraft, but the last RTS I can remember really being into is Dune 2.

The Force Unleashed sails up pretty high on the reccomendation list, due to the main consesus here being that its weak side is that it's too short, which is fairly appealing to me.

Loved Empire at War, I lost the damn install disk or I'd play through again.

Well underway with KOTOR and enjoying it. I tried to play Battlefront 2 a little, but the desert ground was a monochrome glowing green, for some reason, and google fails me when it comes to fixing it, so that's probably a no go.
