While I agree that the sentiment you express is a valid reaction to many posts in the UFC Forum, I don't agree that it applies to the post to which you responded. I don't think Polish Machine intended to discredit Lombard's performance. Nothing in his post is necessarily incompatible with him being impressed by Hector's performance. I actually thought his post was fairly insightful. Just IMO.

Feed Weidman to him. Let's see if either deserve a shot against Anderson.

I agree, many think Weidman should get a title shot but I think he should win once more before he gets one, and honestly I think Lombard would win but if Weidman wins then I'm all for him getting a title shot. Lombard with like a 30 fight win streak, a controversial loss from Boetsch(really a win in most people's eyes), a win over Palhares, a win over Weidman should get him a title shot and if not than 1 more top 5 win should.

There's going to be alot of fairweather fans jumping on his bandwagon now; but ive been a fan of his for the past 3 years. I always thought he would give Silva and any other MW problems. Not because he is technically superior, but because of his abnormal strength , unusual build for the weight class, good tdd, judo and punching power.

Yeap, I have also been watching bellator and was amused when people started bashing Lombard after the UFC debut loss. Anyone who had seen Lombard before knew something was going on.

And of corse the zuffa zombies then jumped to the conclusion that it was just boetch made Lombard look noobish etc. And the backstory was that no bellator fighter could ever match any ufc fighter. Although usually the people who give this opinion do not even watch bellator.

And now that he is more or less back to his original form people are jumping back to the bandwagon. But that how it always goes, now I am just waiting some more "motivated", "dat look" discussions. They always amuse me.
