You mention two guys. Both guys win way more than they lose. How does this argument prove heavyweight is a joke. Why do you want to see large half naked men rolling on the canvas anyways?

I remember the original OG’s of UFC gave no shits about weight classes. They also got paid better than 99% of the roster today (adjusting for inflation).

Lol... No they did not get paid better than today. The winner of the whole tournament got $50K, but the rest of the roster only got $1000. That's $97,000 and $1,900 for the runners up.

Wouldn’t really call it a “roster” back then. Check out the attendance and capacity of UFC 1 vs the Danapex events in 2022 and really have your hair blown back.

Francis is a monster but if Boner Jones wants to fight HW, then anyone outside Francis is a perfect time.

HW had the smaller skilled guys (Frodo, Murr, Cro Cop, etc.), then came the skilled massive guy, and they sorta got loose and are now just power punchers.

Prime Timmeh would've fit right in.
