Heavy Weight match ups

Lots of movement in the heavyweight division lately. Here are the match-ups I would like to see.


Overeem vs Miocic/Werdum Winner

Reem has earned his title shot with 4 wins and finishes over JDS and Arloski.

JDS vs Miocic/Werdum Loser

JDS is the hardest guy to book an opponent for right now because of the Reem win yesterday. He still deserves a top opponent such as the loser of the next title fight. I would love to see a Werdum/JDS re-match.

Rothwell vs Arloski

Two top fighters looking to get back on track.

Cain/Brown winner vs Mark Hunt

Neither guy has fought Hunt. Assuming Cain wins, a fight vs Hunt would be amazing.


Struve vs Barnett

Struve deserves a big name fighter and The Warmaster would be a perfect fit.


Lewis vs Big Country (Already booked)

I like this list. Only thing I would do is switch so Rothwell and Barnett fought. That would be interesting to me.

AA and Struve could work too. If Struve could beat AA he is getting close to being a contender.

Good fights, I can't disagree.. I like them all. Overeem should certainly get the next title shot and fight the Werdum vs Stipe winner. The only thing about Hunt fighting Cain or Browne is that means he would have a long time inactive, and at his age its not good, he needs to fight more. Cain will probably get injured and pull out like he always does anyway, so we will end up with Hunt vs Browne at UFC 200 I reckon.

Hunt jussssst lost in his interim title bid. Browne hasn't been a top dawg consistently.
I think AO should get the winner of the next fight for the title. I think he has had the same amount of fights as half the contenders put together. Let him try to do it. He is certainly skilled enough to challenge the winner (and might pull it off).
Good match ups though. I would LOVE to see a Werdum/JDS rematch. Would be good to see how he matches up to the champ as they have both re-tuned up their game in different ways.

He got caught imo. Just like Shogun goy caught by Sonnen. If a guy has wrestling/grappling/ submission skills and you do too doesn't mean you can take them lightly. Just like Maia schooled Sonnen in a few seconds...
