Heavier hands Mark Hunt or Shane Carwin?

Hunt's power is a bit overrated, as is his stand up. A raw Cormier knocked the shit out of Bigfoot in short order while Hunt lost the first round by getting soundly outstruck.

Threat of the takedown loomed large in Silva's mind.

Tough to say... Carwin had the better ground game but his cardio was terrible...

Eh? okay?

The question was "Heavier hands Mark Hunt or Shane Carwin?"

Heavier hands Carwin better striker Hunt.

Carwin hits harder, he threw an arm shot at Gonzaga while hurt and knocked him out. He had freaky power.

Probably Carwin, but Hunt puts hardly any effort into his punches.

Yeah, that was a crazy punch. Almost lost my damn mind when I watched the fight for the 1st time.

Eh, hard to say. Hunt has definitely knocked out the better competition imo.

Are you forgetting what he did to Roy?

Carwin. Guy had proper technique, he just wasnt versatile with his boxing. He threw 1-2's and he did it with fucking thunder. Had he mixed in hooks and uppercuts more, he could have been even more dangerous but his mass made him gas too fast.

Hunt would probably win if it was just a standup war. Hunt has way better defense. If Carwin could mix in his wrestling, it could be a winnable fight. However Carwin always seemed to only use his wrestling defensively

No. Roy kept dipping his head so low he was asking to eat an uppercut.

He KO'd a man that JDS and Werdum beat the living shit out of (but couldn't finish) while a raw and unknown Cormier destroyed Bigfoot who Hunt arguably lost to.

Welcome to MMA :p

Hunt, just look at how he KO'd Nelson and Tuch with those uppercuts, they wern't full force or anything, he just slammed his fists into them from a short distance.

Styles make fights...Cormier also couldn't KO Nelson but yet Hunt did with ease. Whats that do to your theory? DC couldn't even KO Mir or old man Hendo.

Not really. Carwin/JDS and Hunt/JDS were pretty identical. JDS completely smashing them both from start to finish. Only difference is Carwin was able to go the distance.

Might want to rewatch those fights, Carwin had JDS at the end and the Hunt fight was competitive, JDS was never dominating that fight, just merely winning it.

Hunt has the heaviest fists in the UFC and would walk through Carwin.

And against Werdum/JDS Nelson just kept plodding forward throwing the same punch over and over...yet those guys couldn't finish him.

Carwin has heavier hands, better chin and is all around the better fighter.

And he didn't even train MMA full time. Full time Carwin would've been GOAT, but he simply did not need the money which would have fed the ambition. It was a hobby to The Engineer but I will always consider him the baddest man on the planet. His hulk-outs made Tyson's strikes seem like baby taps.

Carwin sucks.
