Heads up Arby's

I remember working in Taco Bell in HS back in like 1996 and the meat came in a dehydrated packet like Minute Rice.

They had these tins we’d fill with water that sat in steaming trays, you’d drop the meat granules packet into the hot water and in a few minutes it would swell up into pre seasoned taco meat.

They’ve improved it since then I’m sure.

I work in the food industry.

Arby's Roast Beef when deliver to the restaurant comes in a plastic bag filled with liquid "Beef."

Then at the restaurant it is popped into an oven and comes out a solid form of "Beef."

Good luck!

Tried Arby's steak nuggets. Around $7 for 5 pieces in a small paper cup like pudding cup size. By itself, no flavor, which is sorta ok because I didn't want salty. Definitely needed sauce. Wasn't dry or flavorful like beef jerky. Wasn't juicy either. Kinda like meat that fell into someone's glass of water. Mostly lean, except a few small pieces of fat. Not hard or tough. Not likely to buy again.

After I ordered, overheard one Arby's employee telling another that earlier some customer ordered it and said it's awful.

Saw on the internet, they also serve it as a bowl on top of mac & cheese.

I worked at Arby's. When we got it off the truck, it was an actual roast. We then put it in the oven and served it. There was no liquid beef or any of that shit.

This was 2007, so things can change, but at that time, it was definitely not a liquid nonsense.

It still isn't and never was "liquid meat".

What's up??

What the fuck is up Arby's??!!

Arby's Beef & Cheddar looks like the busted vagina of a crackwhore so Arby's should lower their price so they cost the same.

The one around here definitely has more employees than customers. Pretty sure it's a front.

Or maybe the amount of money they bring in from one family having dinner there per day is enough to cover the operating costs.

I feel this way about Burger King; it’s gotta be a front. I know all of zero people in my lifetime who like BK, or go to it as a first, or 5th option.

I like BK a lot. It has a different taste than all the other burger chains and the fries are pretty good even if they don't give you enough. Most have closed down around me though there's only one I know of that's been open since I was a kid. Still right next to the Mcdonalds like in the old days but somehow this one survived.
