I think under 18 can be charged as adults in some cases. Not sure if this is one because I'm assuming he would only get 2nd degree.

My uncle was murdered, shot point blank a year ago in a movie theater from a kid because he also had to move seats..

He shot and killed a man in a fight over a movie seat in Albuquerque, now the man at the center of that murder is going to prison.

In Texas for serious crimes you can be charged as an adult at 17 so the attacker is screwed.

Some local reporters already reported that the attacker had previously been suspended for bringing a knife to school and that he actually skipped school to attend the track meet which again isn't good.

I don't really think that 16 to 17 is too young to charge as an adult in certain murder situations.

If you get into a fight and accidentally kill someone or you drag race and kill someone...okay.

When you stab someone in an altercation or commit premeditated murder...thats another thing entirely. When I was a teenager I was very wreckless and I definitely put others in danger as well as myself. But I definitely knew the consequences of murder. And I think most teenagers do too.

If you commit that type of crime at 16 or 17...sorry but I don't think that is something you will suddenly grow out of. I think it's more something you would further grow into.

Sorry about your uncle. I think California is the only state where a teen can't be charged as an adult. In TX kids get sent to prison all the time.

Until we released the footage of his previous gas station robbery where he attempted to shoot two other individuals, The Judge was not pleased..
