They were indeed charged with felony murder. A good lawyer should be able to plea to a lesser charge since they are 13 years old. This is how the system has always worked, regardless of locale. Sad tragic event and they will learn the hard way.

They did not drug her. She was already drugged, and did it to herself via alcohol consumption. They met her at the bar and had consentual sex with her. When she was passed out they decided to steal her credit card instead of caring for her drunk state. That was their fatal flaw and now they fucked for life.

If they didn't steal her card they would most likely not be facing any charges.
But they did and now they could get life in jail. Not a soul on earth is gonna feel sorry for them either. They gonna rot. Let that be a lesson to you young horny kids.

Anyone who's drunk so much they die from it, is never giving consent to sex. Or at the very least, is falling comatose within seconds of starting to have sex.

the people at the hotel said this girl could hardly walk and that the two guys where helping her through the lobby and into the elevator.

and I heard they did drug her. Isn’t there a toxicology report?

I mean if they didn't steal her card, cash and cell phone of a dead girl, I guess we could let them off. From criminal statistics, it's a very high probability they committed rape.
